A Richmond house that is in the running as America’s ugliest has been torn down.

But that doesn’t mean it still couldn’t win in a contest sponsored by the company behind those gaudy “We Buy Ugly Houses” signs you seem to see just about everywhere in town.

According to our friends at Richmond.com, the house is among four in the area competing for the “honor” to call itself the ugliest in the nation.

You’ll have to hurry to cast your vote, though, because the contest ends Friday. You can read more about it here.

Even if the house doesn’t bring home the award, I’m sure the neighbors are happy to see it gone from their block.
