Do you spend more time on the web or using the apps on your phone? If you’re like most consumers, your phone is becoming your digital platform of choice.
The average number of minutes spent daily on mobile apps has edged out those on the web, according to a new study by the analytics firm Flurry.

The Flurry report comes on the heels of a recent one that showed sales of smart phones eclipsing those of notebook and desktop computers.
As always, Mashable does a good job of boiling down the report and putting it into understandable language.
Flurry found consumers spend 9% more time, on average, using mobile apps. The report found that the growth in mobile app usage came mostly from more sessions per user, rather than longer sessions overall.
Those sessions, by and large, are consumed by the use of games and social media apps, which took 47% and 32% of the total amount of time used for such apps.
Which do you prefer? Your phone or the web? What are your must-have apps?
